RITCHIE's Longest Serving Employee Retires

Forfar, Scotland - Ritchie`s longest serving employee William (Bill) Milne has retired after 44 years service with the Company.

Bill has seen huge changes at Ritchie during his service. He has seen the company grow from 10 to over 120 employees. In the early days Bill arranged the dispatch of products via the railway from the local station to customers throughout the UK. More recently Bill has been involved in dispatching products world wide using the Ritchie fleet of trucks and shipping agents.

When away from work, Bill is a keen hill-walker and was involved with Mountain Rescue.

Chairman Jim Watt presents Bill with vouchers from the workforce and the Company.

"Over the years, Bill has built up an unrivalled knowledge of the company`s products and where our customers can be found on a map!" said Ritchie`s Chairman Jim Watt. "Bill has not only been a loyal employee, but a valuable colleague and will be greatly missed by all at Ritchie."
